Legal guarantee for private customers
A legal guarantee period of 2 years applies to private customers.
To claim the guarantee, it is mandatory to present the purchase invoice. The guarantee period starts from the date indicated on the item's invoice.
We recommend, where possible, registering the machine with the relevant manufacturer after receipt. This way, the purchase is associated with the customer, and any warranty claims can be processed more quickly.
Legal guarantee for business customers
A guarantee period of 1 year applies to business customers.
In this case too, to claim the guarantee, it is mandatory to present the purchase invoice. The guarantee period starts from the date indicated on the item's invoice.
We also advise business customers to register machines with the manufacturer after receipt, to simplify the handling of any warranty requests.
Guarantee summary
Private customers: 2 years guarantee based on the purchase invoice.
Business customers: 1 year guarantee based on the purchase invoice.
Extended guarantee up to a maximum of 5 years
Krollit is an official dealer for several brands, including Bernardo, Laguna, Flott, Record Power, Titebond, Ravendo, Reventon, Güde, Jet, IGM, UJK, Ravas, and Durendus.
Some manufacturers offer an extended guarantee on certain products. For example, for the Flott brand, a guarantee of up to 3 years is available on pillar drills and up to 5 years on band saws, according to the manufacturer's conditions.
To benefit from the extended guarantee, the product must be registered within the period established by the manufacturer. The maximum guarantee period is indicated separately on each item's product page, when available.
Repairs during the guarantee period
If an item breaks down during the guarantee period, you can take advantage of our assistance and repair service.
The conditions described on the pages dedicated to repairs, returns, and exchanges apply.
We typically handle the request within 14 working days. However, if the item needs to be sent to the manufacturer or if spare parts need to be ordered, repair times may be longer.
Faulty machine during the guarantee period
A breakdown during the guarantee period does not automatically mean that the repair is covered by the guarantee.
The guarantee only applies in cases of demonstrable manufacturing defects recognized by the manufacturer.
The guarantee does not cover:
- normal wear and tear of the product
- improper use or use not in accordance with instructions
- damage caused by insufficient maintenance
- unauthorized modifications or interventions
- wear parts
Wear parts include, for example, carbon brushes, connecting cables, ball bearings, gears, blades, spindles, and consumable components.
In these cases, maintenance, repair, and shipping costs may be charged.
Additional advice
Always purchase machines from an official dealer. In some online stores, machines may be offered at lower prices because they come from other markets, do not follow official distribution channels, or have been modified. This can cause technical problems and may invalidate the manufacturer's guarantee.
