Thickness Planing to Achieve Uniform Board Thickness
In thickness planer configuration, the FS 200 feeds the board between the cutterblock and the lower support table, producing a uniform thickness between 8 and 120 mm with an automatic feed speed of 7 m/min. A typical application is thicknessing previously jointed boards, bringing all boards in a batch to the same thickness before assembly, gluing, or joinery work. Switching the dust extraction hood from the jointing position to the thicknessing position requires simple manual repositioning, without dismantling any components.
