Reversible TJ Ø 200 mm top jaws — do they combine internal and external gripping in one set?

Yes — this is the main feature of the reversible TJ top jaws. The top inserts are mounted in two opposite orientations on the same base body: "normal" orientation for internal gripping (clamping from the inside of the bore or seat), "reversed" orientation for external gripping (clamping around the external diameter of the workpiece). A single set replaces two separate sets of jaws — a concrete advantage for those who frequently work with both configurations.

How are the inserts reversed in practice — how long does it take?

To reverse: 1) loosen the insert fixing screws with the supplied wrench, 2) remove each insert, 3) reassemble it in the opposite position, 4) retighten the screws. This operation takes 2–3 minutes for a complete set of 3 or 4 jaws. The inserts have a notch or visual reference for correct orientation — it is practically impossible to mount them in the wrong position if you follow the reference.

The PS3 base body — compatible with what type of chuck?

The PS3 base body is compatible with 3-jaw chucks of type PS (front attachment with 3 screws). Check the attachment type of your chuck before purchase — the attachment is not interchangeable between PS3, PS4 and DK. Customer service in Italian available.
