Is this base included in the standard lathe supply or is it purchased separately?
The base is purchased separately from the lathe — it is not included in the standard supply. Krollit offers the lathe and the base as distinct products to allow those who already have a suitable workshop bench not to purchase the base. For a complete and safe installation, the original base is strongly recommended: it brings the lathe to an ergonomic working height and includes a chip tray and a lockable door.
Is the RAL 5014 pigeon blue paint standard?
Yes — all Bernardo bases use RAL 5014 pigeon blue powder coating, the same color as the machines. Polyester powder coating is more resistant than liquid paint to impacts, cutting oils, and workshop humidity.
Compatible with: SB 915 S?
The base is specifically designed for SB 915 S. It is not interchangeable with lathes of other series. Always check the model of your lathe before purchasing. Customer support in Italian available.
