What sanding stage is 80 grit used for on the OSB 60 sander?
80 grit is suitable for roughing and removing a significant amount of material: sanding rough surfaces, blending joints, eliminating surface oxidation and rust. After K80, move to K100–K120 for intermediate sanding. The OSB 60 oscillating sander, with its combined rotational + oscillating movement, ensures streak-free sanding — unlike standard orbital sanders where the belt's direction of travel can leave marks in the same direction.
