Yes — with the appropriate dies. For stainless steel, the required force increases by 30–50% compared to mild steel: check that the residual capacity of the hydraulic cylinder is sufficient for the specific diameter and thickness. For aluminum, the force decreases. Each material requires the correct diameter die — the same Ø 50 mm copper, steel, and stainless steel pipe use the same die but with a different elastic return angle.
Are bending dies of different radii included or separate?
The basic dies for the most common diameters are included in the standard equipment of the HRB 20 S.
