Does the HRB 40 S also work with stainless steel and aluminum pipes?

Yes — with the appropriate dies. For stainless steel, the required force increases by 30–50% compared to mild steel: verify that the residual capacity of the hydraulic cylinder is sufficient for the specific diameter and thickness. For aluminum, the force decreases. Each material requires the correct diameter die — the same Ø 50 mm pipe in copper, steel, and stainless steel uses the same die but with a different spring-back angle.

Are bending dies of different radii included or separate?

The basic dies for the most common diameters are included in the standard equipment of the HRB 40 S. For additional diameters or bending radii different from the standard ones, the dies are ordered separately. Original spare parts available with 3–5 working days shipping.
