The graphite coating on the belt platen improves abrasive glide and finish quality; adjustment screws facilitate the parallel centering of the belt. The spring tensioner maintains constant belt tension, while the quick vertical/horizontal conversion allows for immediate adjustments to the workpiece.
The rigid, torsion-free structure reduces vibrations and ensures smooth operation. The inclinable disc table (Ø 230 mm) can also be used as a support during belt sanding, increasing flexibility. With a belt speed of 5.5 m/s and 1420 rpm no-load speed, the BDSM 230 C offers high performance in a simple and economical way.
