1-13 mm keyed chuck — when is it preferable to a keyless chuck?
The keyed chuck uses a T-handle key for mechanical clamping — the clamping torque is higher than a keyless chuck, making the keyed chuck the choice for: large diameter drilling on steel (Ø >20 mm), operations that generate reverse torque (counterboring, reaming), continuous use in production where clamping must remain firm even under vibrations. The key is not lost during use.
1/2" – 20 UNF connection — compatibility with my machine?
The 1/2" – 20 UNF connection must match the short taper of the machine's spindle. Verify the connection code in your machine's documentation before purchasing. Customer support in Italian available.
