Frequently asked questions
What is the universal joint for HS-series used for in woodworking?
The universal joint (Cardan joint or universal coupling) for the Bernardo HS series transmits rotational motion between shafts at varying angles — typically used to connect the power take-off to an angled attachment or to compensate for slight misalignments between the motor and the tool. In woodworking, it is used for heads and accessories that need to work in angled positions relative to the main axis.
