DIJ Jaws Ø 250 mm — what does DIJ mean and for what type of clamping?
DIJ (Direct Inner Jaw) refers to jaws for internal clamping: the teeth grip from inside a bore or cavity, expanding outwards. They are used to clamp drilled parts (rings, flanges, hollow shafts) by blocking them from inside the bore. The geometry of the teeth is optimized for internal clamping — they are not used for traditional external clamping. The size Ø 250 mm indicates the diameter of the compatible chuck, not the diameter of the bore that can be clamped.
DK11 series — compatibility with my chuck?
DK11 attachment (11 DIN 6350 bolts). Please check the attachment type of your chuck before purchasing — DK11 and DK12 are not interchangeable. The Ø 250 mm diameter must match the size of the chuck. Customer support in Italian available.
What is the range of internal diameters that can be clamped with these jaws?
The clamping range depends on the jaw travel in the chuck and the teeth geometry. As a reference for a Ø 250 mm chuck: the minimum bore that can be clamped is approximately 15–20% of the chuck diameter; the maximum is approximately 60–70%. For applications outside this range, please contact Krollit. Customer support in Italian available.
