What exactly is this device for?
The 50K device guides drill bits (3–32 mm) to the precise sharpening angle (standard 118° or 135° for hard steels) and ensures the symmetry of the cutting edges — the main problem with hand-sharpened drill bits is the difference in length between the two cutting edges, which causes the hole to 'wobble' and oversized holes. With the 50K, the result is repeatable without specific experience.
