DIJ Ø 100 mm Jaws — what does DIJ mean and for what type of clamping?
DIJ (Direct Inner Jaw) indicates jaws for internal gripping: the teeth grip from inside a hole or cavity, expanding outwards. Used to clamp hollow workpieces (rings, flanges, hollow shafts) by gripping them from inside the hole. The tooth geometry is optimized for internal gripping — they are not used for traditional external gripping. The Ø 100 mm size indicates the diameter of the compatible chuck, not the diameter of the hole that can be clamped.
DK11 series — compatibility with my chuck?
DK11 attachment (11 DIN 6350 bolts). Check the attachment type of your chuck before purchasing — DK11 and DK12 are not interchangeable. The Ø 100 mm diameter must match the chuck size. Customer support in Italian available.
What is the range of internal diameters that can be clamped with these jaws?
The clamping range depends on the jaw travel in the chuck and the tooth geometry. As a reference for a Ø 100 mm chuck: the minimum clappable hole is approximately 15–20% of the chuck diameter; the maximum is approximately 60–70%. For applications outside this range, contact Krollit. Customer support in Italian available.
