Which machine uses GL adhesive pellets?
GL pellets are the refill for Bernardo GL series hot melt gluing machines (GL 2 and GL 12). They are poured into the gluing machine's tank, which melts them at a controlled temperature (typically 160–190°C). The GL 2 format is for the GL 2 gluing machine (2 kg capacity); the GL 12 format is the 6 × 2 kg pack for intensive use or for those who want to stock up. Do not use with standard glue guns — they require sticks, not pellets.
What materials can GL hot melt adhesive be used on?
GL hot melt adhesive is suitable for: PVC and ABS edges on chipboard and MDF panels (edge banding), wood-to-wood joints, fastening decorative profiles in carpentry. Not suitable for structural bonding under high dynamic loads or for painted surfaces where heat could damage the finish.
