CMT Industrial blade — what type of professional use is it designed for?
CMT industrial blades with high-density carbide teeth are designed for continuous professional production on table saws and radial saws — more sharpening cycles than consumer blades, optimized tooth geometry for clean cuts on all wood types (hard, soft, plywood, particleboard, laminate, MDF). The alternate teeth with 10°–20° rake angle reduce chipping on agglomerated materials.
Can this blade be sharpened?
Yes — CMT carbide blades can be sharpened with a circular saw blade sharpener equipped with a diamond grinding wheel (such as the Bernardo SBS 700 or SBS 800). A CMT industrial blade can be sharpened 5–8 times before needing replacement. In-house sharpening is much more economical than replacement.
