What is the 12-liter universal cooling system used for?
The cooling system delivers cutting fluid (water/oil emulsion) to the cutting area during operations on grinding machines, pillar drills, and milling machines. The 12-liter tank feeds the pump, which recirculates the coolant — it lowers the temperature of the workpiece and tool, increases the permissible cutting speed, and improves surface finish. 400 V power supply.
How does it connect to Bernardo machines?
Via included hose and standard fittings. The pump is powered at 400 V — check for power availability near the machine. The tank is positioned near the machine; the delivery hose carries the coolant to the nozzle on the workpiece, and the return hose brings the fluid back into the tank. Customer support in Italian available.
How often should the coolant be replaced?
Every 4–8 weeks in normal use — replace when it changes color (brown/black) or odor. Before replacement, clean the tank with a detergent solution and rinse thoroughly. Used coolant is special waste (CER 12 01 09) — dispose of through an authorized collector.
