VP vacuum clamping kit — for what type of processing is it useful?
The VP vacuum clamping system clamps flat workpieces (panels, sheets) by suction — without vises, clamps, or screws that interfere with processing. The VP 03 has an integrated electric pump: it generates a vacuum automatically and maintains it even if the material has small leaks. Suitable for: edgebanders, CNC milling machines, processing of panels and sheets that cannot be drilled or compressed.
On which materials does vacuum clamping work?
Vacuum works on any flat, non-porous surface: chipboard, MDF, plywood, plastic, glass, aluminum. It does not work on porous surfaces (untreated solid wood, open foams) or on workpieces with through-holes in the suction area — the vacuum will not form. For panels with holes, cover the holes with waterproof tape before clamping.
