Who uses the UJK clamping kit and for what
The kit is used by carpenters and wood artisans who need to clamp workpieces of different shapes on a multifunction bench for routing, sanding, carving, and operations that require the top surface of the workpiece to be completely free of clamps. In Italy, it is particularly adopted by those who perform routing with a router on an MFT bench where traditional clamps obstruct the router's pass, those who work on irregular pieces that cannot be clamped with standard dogs, and professionals who need a complete clamping system organized in a single portable container. The cam clamp and wedge system allows active clamping of the workpiece, leaving the entire top surface accessible to tools.

Who is the UJK clamping kit for
| Profile |
Compatibility |
Reason |
| Carpenter performing routing on MFT bench and needing a free top surface |
Suitable |
The cam clamp and wedge system clamps the workpiece laterally from the bench holes without any element above the workpiece; the router can pass over the entire surface without obstacles |
| Those working on irregularly shaped pieces that cannot be clamped with standard dogs |
Suitable |
The bench dogs with 3 hole positions (lateral, longitudinal, diagonal) and the wedges combined with the cam clamps allow clamping of non-rectangular shapes |
| Those starting with the Parf MkII system or MFT bench and wanting both a cutting set and a clamping set |
Not suitable |
This kit is oriented towards clamping and routing; for cuts with a track saw, the complete UJK track saw kit, which includes expandable dogs and anti-slip protections, is more suitable |
Not suitable for: use as a primary set for track saw cuts, for which the UJK track saw kit is more comprehensive; and for Bosch, Mafell, and DeWalt guide rails, for which the included clips are not compatible.

Frequently asked questions
How does the UJK kit's cam clamp and wedge clamping system work?
The bench dog fits into the 20mm holes of the bench and provides a fixed support on the back side of the workpiece. The cam clamp fits into another hole on the front side, and its rotation exerts increasing force towards the bench dog. One or two HDF Valchromat wedges are inserted between the clamp and the workpiece to adapt the system to workpieces of varying thickness.
The result is active clamping that leaves the entire top surface of the workpiece completely free of any elements, allowing the router to pass over the entire surface, complete sanding, and unobstructed carving. The system works on workpieces of any width that can be inserted between the dog and the clamp.
What is the difference between this kit and the UJK track saw kit?
The clamping kit is oriented towards active clamping for routing, sanding, and operations with a free surface; it includes cam clamps, wedges, and bench dogs. The track saw kit is oriented towards precise square cuts; it includes 60mm expandable dogs, anti-slip protections, and dog collars.
The two kits are complementary: many carpenters working on an MFT bench use both, one for track saw cuts and one for routing and finishing operations. Both include track fixing clips and 12mm reference dogs.
Are the included bench dogs adjustable in position?
Yes. Each bench dog has 3 x 20mm holes: two with 96mm spacing for lateral or longitudinal positioning relative to the workpiece, and a third for diagonal positioning. By combining the different positions of the dogs in the bench holes, the system can be adapted to workpieces of different sizes and shapes.
Is the T-LOC case compatible with the Festool Systainer system?
The T-LOC case included in the kit has dimensions of 396×296 mm. For specific compatibility with the Festool Systainer T-LOC or Systainer3 stacking system, it is recommended to check the dimensions before purchasing, as compatibility depends on the generation of Systainer owned.
Are the included reference dogs the same as those sold separately?
Yes. The 6 x 12mm dogs and 2 x 50mm dogs included in the kit are identical to those sold separately, in CNC machined 303 stainless steel with a chamfered stop collar. The difference is that in the kit they are already paired with the other clamping accessories in a single organized purchase.
