DIJ Ø 200 mm jaws — what does DIJ mean and for what type of clamping?
DIJ (Direct Inner Jaw) indicates jaws for internal gripping: the teeth bite from inside a hole or cavity, expanding outwards. Used to clamp holed parts (rings, flanges, hollow shafts) by locking them from inside the hole. The jaw geometry is optimized for internal gripping — they are not used for traditional external gripping. The Ø 200 mm size indicates the diameter of the compatible chuck, not the diameter of the hole that can be clamped.
DK12 series — compatibility with my chuck?
DK12 connection (12 DIN 6350 bolts). Check your chuck's connection type before purchasing — DK11 and DK12 are not interchangeable. The Ø 200 mm diameter must match the chuck size. Customer support in Italian available.
What is the range of internal diameters that can be clamped with these jaws?
The clamping range depends on the jaw travel in the chuck and the geometry of the teeth. As a reference for a Ø 200 mm chuck: the minimum clenchable hole is approximately 15-20% of the chuck diameter; the maximum is approximately 60-70%. For applications outside this range, contact Krollit. Customer support in Italian available.
