What is the correct grit for the material to be worked?
Coarse grinding steel (quick removal): P40–P60. Intermediate sanding: P80–P120. Finishing: P150–P240. For aluminum, use belts with an open bond to prevent clogging. For stainless steel: specific belts not contaminated by mild steel — iron residues cause oxidation on stainless steel. For wood: P80–P180 for coarse grinding-finishing.
Is the 2000 x 50 mm belt compatible with my sander?
Check the length and width of your sander's belt before purchasing — the measurements must match exactly. Incorrectly sized belts cause uneven tension and can be damaged quickly. Italian customer support available.
