VH vacuum clamping kit — what kind of machining is it useful for?
The VH vacuum clamping system clamps flat workpieces (panels, sheets) using suction — without vices, clamps, or screws that interfere with machining. The VH 03 has a quick-release lever: ideal for applications where the workpiece needs to be assembled and disassembled frequently (edge banding, edge milling). Suitable for: edge banders, CNC milling machines, processing of panels and sheets that cannot be drilled or compressed.
What materials does vacuum clamping work on?
Vacuum works on any flat non-porous surface: chipboard, MDF, plywood, plastic, glass, aluminum. It does not work on porous surfaces (untreated solid wood, open foams) or on workpieces with through holes in the suction area — the vacuum does not form. For panels with holes, cover the holes with waterproof tape before clamping.
