Standard DK11 chuck with internal guide — difference from the precision PO3 version?
The "standard" DK11 chuck has a cast iron body (cheaper than the steel of the PO3) with a DK11 attachment (11 DIN 6350 bolts) and a DIN 55029 cam-lock mounting. The "internal guide" indicates that the jaws slide in guides inside the body — a more robust construction for intensive use. Compared to the steel PO3: slightly higher weight, lower cost, but suitable for the vast majority of standard professional turning operations.
The D8 mount — compatible with which Bernardo lathe?
The D8 mount (DIN 55029 D8 cam-lock) is for lathes with D8 spindles — Bernardo Profi 880 G Vario, Profi 900 Vario, and models from the same range. Check the spindle mounting code of your lathe before purchase. Customer support in Italian available.
