WH wall mount — for which grinders and what is the advantage over a stand?

The WH wall mount mounts the grinder to the wall instead of on a bench or stand — it frees up workspace and keeps the machine close at hand near the work area. It includes a water cooling tray for wet disc grinders (WS/WET). Compatible with grinders up to Ø 250 mm. The wall structure must be solid masonry or a metal stud capable of supporting the weight of the machine plus dynamic forces during grinding.

The cooling tray — is it necessary for all grinders?

The tray is useful for wet disc grinders (WS 150, WS 200 Bernardo) where the lower disc partially rotates in water. For standard dry disc grinders, the tray is not necessary — only a container to collect any splashes is needed.
