Set of 3 diamond grinding wheels (blue/yellow/red) — for what use and in what order?
The 3 grinding wheels have decreasing grit sizes: blue = coarse (roughing, abundant material removal on carbide and ceramic), yellow = medium (blending lines from the previous stage), red = fine (finishing the cutting edge). The order is always from blue → yellow → red: do not skip stages. Diamond grinding wheels are for tungsten carbide (HM/TCT) tools, ceramic, and other hard materials that would quickly wear out corundum grinding wheels. Diamond grinding wheels are not necessary for HSS steel — use corundum.
