What is an HSS GT12 die holder and how is it used?
The die holder is the die head that is mounted on the Bernardo threading machine with a GT12 collet chuck. It holds the HSS die of the corresponding diameter for the indicated sizes (M12, M14) and keeps it centered and correctly oriented during threading. The quick-change system allows the die to be replaced without tools between different sizes.
Is this holder compatible with my Bernardo threading machine?
The GT12 collet chuck is compatible with Bernardo TM series threading machines. Check the type of collet chuck on your threading machine (GT12 → TM 12 threading machines, GT24 → TM 24 threading machines) before purchasing. Not interchangeable between GT12 and GT24.
