Is this base frame included in the standard lathe supply or is it purchased separately?
The base frame is purchased separately from the lathe — it is not included in the standard supply. Krollit offers the lathe and the base frame as separate products to allow those who already have a suitable workshop bench not to purchase the base frame. For a complete and safe installation, the original base frame is highly recommended: it brings the lathe to an ergonomic working height and includes a chip collection tray and a lockable door.
Is the pigeon blue RAL 5014 paint finish standard?
Yes — all Bernardo base frames use pigeon blue RAL 5014 powder coating, the same color as the machines. Polyester powder coating is more resistant than liquid paint to impacts, cutting oils, and workshop humidity.
Compatible with: check compatibility with your model?
The base frame is specifically designed to check compatibility with your model. It is not interchangeable with lathes from other series. Always check your lathe model before purchasing. Customer support in Italian available.
