Is this base cabinet included in the standard lathe supply or is it purchased separately?
The base cabinet is purchased separately from the lathe — it is not included in the standard supply. Krollit offers the lathe and the base cabinet as separate products to allow those who already have an adequate workshop bench not to purchase the base cabinet. For a complete and safe installation, the original base cabinet is highly recommended: it brings the lathe to an ergonomic working height and includes a chip tray and a lockable door.
Is the RAL 5014 pigeon blue paint standard?
Yes — all Bernardo base cabinets use RAL 5014 pigeon blue powder coating, the same color as the machines. Polyester powder coating is more resistant than liquid painting to impacts, cutting oils, and workshop humidity.
Compatible with: Profi(center) 500?
The base cabinet is designed specifically for Profi(center) 500. It is not interchangeable with lathes from other series. Always check the model of your lathe before purchasing. Customer service in Italian available.
