What air pressure does the PGH 500 / PGH 700 require?

PGH hammers require compressed air at 6–8 bar with adequate flow for continuous operation. A compressor with a minimum 50-liter tank and a minimum flow rate of 150–200 l/min is sufficient for intermittent artisanal use. For continuous use, prefer compressors with a higher flow rate.

What is the difference between PGH 500 and PGH 700?

The number indicates the impact force: the PGH 700 has a greater impact than the PGH 500 — suitable for thicker sheets or more pronounced corrections. The PGH 500 is more precise and less aggressive for finishing work and on thin sheets. In body shops, both are used: 700 for roughing, 500 for finishing.
