Frequently Asked Questions
Is the weighing system of the PHW 2 approved for commercial use?
The weighing system integrated into the PHW 2 pallet truck is an indicative tool for internal use — it is not approved as a commercial scale according to Legislative Decree 29/2000 (legally controlled measuring instruments). For legally valid weighing (sale, customs, invoicing by weight), a separate approved scale is required. The integrated system is useful for: internal control of warehouse weights, load selection, pallet optimization.
Does the PHW W pallet truck have the optional printer?
The PHW 2 includes the digital weighing display but without an integrated printer. The W-Pr version with built-in printer is available for those who need immediate weight printing.
How is it used on floors that are not perfectly level?
The weighing system is sensitive to floor inclination — on inclined surfaces the indicated weight can be inaccurate by up to 2–3%. For accurate readings, position the pallet truck on a level surface before reading the weight. The load sensors in the forks partially compensate for irregularities but do not completely eliminate errors on heavily inclined floors.
