Purpose
During sandblasting, the flow of abrasive sand hits the viewing window glass, progressively reducing its transparency. The replaceable protective film is applied to the glass and absorbs the abrasion instead of the glass — when it becomes opaque, it is removed and replaced with a new film, without having to replace the glass. This significantly reduces the maintenance costs of the cabinet over time.
