Pillar Drill FDM 510 - 20 TOP / 400 V

The FDM 510 - 20 TOP pillar drill is a floor-standing machine powered at 400 V, with a drilling capacity of up to 32 mm and MT 4 Morse taper spindle mount. The 0.75 / 1.5 kW two-speed motor, with high torque at low speeds, provides 24 speeds from 60 to 3,480 rpm and features rotation reversal as standard. The 480 × 425 mm table tilts ±45°, the ground steel column has a diameter of 90 mm and the adjustable depth stop allows holes to be repeated at the same depth.

The FDM 510 - 20 TOP is suitable for machine shops, metal fabrication shops, maintenance and production departments that drill steel, aluminium and other materials up to 32 mm, including on tall or heavy workpieces and under heavy use. The minimum speed of 60 rpm with high torque is useful for large diameters, countersinking and slow machining; the depth stop is used for repeated blind holes at the same depth. It requires connection to a 400 V three-phase supply and a floor able to support approx. 114 kg.

It is not suitable for users with only a 230 V single-phase socket, nor for workpieces that require the drilling point to be moved beyond the 255 mm throat depth: in these cases a radial drill is required.
