Yes – the base brings the bench grinder to a comfortable working height (typically 850–950 mm from the floor), eliminating the need to bend over while sharpening. The integrated cooling tray collects water used during wet sharpening – it prevents water from reaching the floor or contaminating the machine below.

Compatible with 200 and 250 mm grinders – including from other manufacturers?

The base is designed for Bernardo grinders of the indicated diameters. Compatibility with grinders from other manufacturers must be checked on a case-by-case basis – the dimensions of the mounting surface and the position of the fastening holes may differ. Customer support in Italian available.
