Güde motorcycle lift 360 kg – 820 mm height, 1350 mm platform, foot pedal control
The Güde motorcycle lift is a specialized tool for vertical lifting of motorcycles up to 360 kg, covering approximately 80% of road motorcycles from 125 cc to 600 cc. The hydraulic scissor mechanism ensures excellent stability – the platform remains perfectly horizontal while rising from 180 mm to 820 mm.
Unlike gravity stands, the lift allows work on the underside of the motorcycle, such as oil changes, filters and chain maintenance, as well as frame inspection and tyre replacement without lateral stress on the motorcycle. The foot pedal control makes operation ergonomic, leaving one hand free for tools.
Mechanics and geometry:
- 360 kg capacity – Covers most road motorcycles, from 125 cc to 600 cc, including touring two-wheelers. Safety margin for motorcycles with high dry weight
- Adjustable height 180-820 mm – 640 mm range lifts the underside from a natural access point, 180 mm, up to a comfortable working height, 820 mm. Precise for mechanics of different heights
- 1350 mm platform length – Length optimized for motorcycles with 1200-1350 mm wheelbase, also suitable for scooters and small motorcycles. 490 mm useful width centres the centre of gravity
- Corrugated anti-slip sheet metal – High-grip surface. Wheels and tyres do not slip during lifting
- Scissor mechanism – Load distribution over 4 support points. Excellent lateral stability, with no oscillation during work
- Foot pedal control – Hands-free operation during lifting. Smooth height control without arm fatigue
- Tyre locking device – Retaining supports up to 135 mm wide hold modern motorcycle tyre casings, often 140-160 mm with rims. Prevents lateral slipping
- 360° swivel castors – Agile mobility between workshop stations. Allows precise positioning under the motorcycle without misalignment
Who chooses it:
- Specialized motorcycle workshops – Routine maintenance, such as oil changes, filters and chain work, as well as extraordinary maintenance, including suspension and brakes. The lift is a standard tool for underside work
- Motocross and enduro mechanics – Inspection and maintenance of off-road motorcycles. Stability is critical for lightweight motorcycles, up to 150 kg, during damage checks
- Multi-brand workshops servicing motorcycles – Restoration of used motorcycles, pre-delivery inspection (PDI) and periodic technical checks. An investment that speeds up work cycles
- Professional motorcycle maintenance centres – Tyre replacement, frame repairs and custom work. A motorcycle lift is an essential tool
Who chooses it in Italy
Workshops specialized in road and sport motorcycles – Routine maintenance, such as oil changes, filters and chain work, and extraordinary maintenance, including suspension, brakes and carburettors. The lift is a standard tool that reduces working times and increases operator safety.
Motocross, enduro and trial mechanics – Weekly post-race inspection, including frame, suspension and transmission checks. Stability is critical for lightweight motorcycles. The lift allows meticulous work without concerns about stability.
Professional motorcycle maintenance centres – Tyre replacement, frame repairs and pre-sale inspection of used motorcycles. The lift speeds up work cycles, improves inspection quality and reduces injury risks.
After-sales support and accessory compatibility

Who the Güde 360 kg motorcycle lift is suitable for
| Profile |
Suitable? |
Reason |
| Specialized motorcycle workshop |
Ideal |
Standard tool for routine and extraordinary maintenance. The 360 kg capacity covers 80% of the Italian motorcycle fleet, 125-600 cc. The stability of the scissor mechanism allows safe work. |
| Motocross/enduro mechanic |
Ideal |
Stability is critical for lightweight motorcycles. Meticulous post-race inspection without concerns about stability. The 1350 mm platform is suitable for off-road motorcycles. |
| Tyre centre with motorcycle section |
Adequate |
Tyre replacement on motorcycles. If motorcycle cycles are frequent, more than 5 motorcycles/day, the investment is justified. For occasional cycles, fewer than 2 motorcycles/day, manual stands are sufficient. |
Not suitable for: sport motorcycles over 600 cc or superbikes, as capacity may be close to the limit for 750-1200 cc models with minimal margin; heavy maxi scooters over 300 cc, where capacity may be close to the limit and stability on solid wheels differs from motorcycle tyres; occasional single use, where the investment is not justified by occasional maintenance.

Frequently asked questions
What is the maximum load the lift can support?
360 kg. Do not exceed this load to avoid damaging the hydraulic cylinders and locking system. For 125-600 cc road motorcycles, with typical dry weight of 150-250 kg and 160-280 kg with fuel, the lift is suitable. For 750+ cc superbike sport motorcycles, with dry weight over 200 kg, contact Krollit for a case-by-case evaluation.
At what working height can I access the motorcycle engine?
Maximum height is 820 mm from the ground. At this height, the engine of a motorcycle lifted on the platform is positioned approximately 900-1000 mm from the ground, making engine access, such as spark plug, air filter and oil casing, comfortable for a standing mechanic without excessive bending. For very low motorcycles, with saddle height under 600 mm, the working height may be lower.
Can I lift motorcycles with very wide tyres, such as touring bikes or sidecars?
Yes, up to 135 mm tyre width as declared by Güde. Modern touring motorcycles and sidecars have 130-150 mm tyres – the locking device accepts up to 135 mm. Sport motorcycles with ultra-wide tyres, over 160 mm, may not lock completely – contact Krollit to confirm compatibility.
How stable is the scissor mechanism during work?
Very stable. Load distribution over 4 support points, 2 cylinders and 2 pivot points. Lateral oscillation is minimal even when working on the side of the motorcycle. The platform remains perfectly horizontal from 180 mm to 820 mm, with no unwanted tilting.
Can I use the lift for vintage motorcycles with uncertain weights?
Yes, for vintage motorcycles up to 350 kg. Vintage motorcycles from the 1960s-1980s typically have dry weights of 150-250 kg. If the weight of the specific motorcycle is unknown, weigh it first on a truck scale, available at fuel stations or body shops, to confirm it is under 360 kg. The safety margin is wide for vintage motorcycles.
Is the foot pedal control ergonomic for tall operators?
The control is a manual foot pedal, so the operator’s height does not significantly affect operation. The pedal is generally positioned 400-500 mm from the ground when the lift is closed, making pressure ergonomic for operators 160-200 cm tall. Very tall or short operators may find the control less than optimal – test it on a demonstration machine.
What maintenance does the lift require?
Minimal maintenance. Monthly inspection: check oil pressure, which must operate smoothly, cylinder integrity with no visible leaks, and pedal operation with no abnormal resistance. Oil replacement is recommended every 12 months with moderate use, fewer than 10 motorcycles/month. Lubricate swivel castors every 6 months with spray lubricant, such as WD-40.
