Description
The RDP 860 - 16 F radial pillar drill is a floor-standing machine powered at 230 V, with a drilling capacity of up to 16 mm. It has a chuck with MT 2 Morse taper mount, offers 5 speeds from 500 to 2,500 rpm and a 0.60 kW motor. The radial head slides over a throat depth of 145 to 430 mm and can be rotated and tilted: the drilling point moves over the workpiece without having to reposition the workpiece each time.

What applications is it suitable for?
The RDP 860 - 16 F is suitable for demanding hobbyists, small workshops, maintenance departments and laboratories that drill steel, aluminium, wood and plastics up to 16 mm, including on larger workpieces thanks to the pillar design and on workpieces where the holes are in different positions or require an angle. The 230 V single-phase power supply allows it to be connected to a standard socket, without a three-phase system.
It is not suitable for large-diameter series drilling or for tapping: these operations require machines with higher capacity and power.
