Description
The UJK Parf self-locking dog is made from CNC machined 303 stainless steel, with a diameter of 20 mm and an overall length of 90 mm. Supplied with 2 interchangeable collars and 2 spare O-rings. Compatible with the Festool MFT/3 table and all grid tables with 20 mm holes. Made in Great Britain. Distributed in Italy by Krollit, official UJK distributor since 2007.

Who uses the UJK Parf self-locking dog and what for
The UJK Parf self-locking dog is used by carpenters and wood craftsmen who need a stable and play-free reference on multifunction tables with 20 mm holes. In Italy, it is particularly adopted by those working with guide saws on multifunction tables for 90° and 45° cuts with the Parf MkII drilling system, those performing routing and sanding tasks that require workpiece clamping without oscillation, and professionals working on construction sites with portable cutting stations where reference rigidity is crucial for cutting precision. The self-locking twist mechanism from the top eliminates the need to access the underside of the table, unlike traditional dogs with threaded knobs.

Who the UJK Parf self-locking dog is for
| Profile | Compatibility | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Carpenter with UJK multifunction table or Festool MFT/3 and guide saw | Suitable | The twist lock eliminates the typical play of dogs without a locking mechanism; 60 mm protrusion with intermediate collar suitable for use with guide rail |
| Those performing routing and high-vibration machining | Suitable | Once locked, the dog does not oscillate; the zero-tolerance mechanism ensures position even under vibration |
| Those needing a low-profile dog | Suitable | The dog can be inserted from the underside of the table and locked to achieve a flush surface reference |
| Those seeking clamping on tables with limited access to the underside | Suitable | Locking is done from the top with a simple twist, without the need to access the underside of the table |
Not recommended for: tables with hole diameters other than 20 mm and for applications on timber thicker than the saw's cutting capacity, for which the UJK Parf long 120 mm clamping dog is recommended.

Frequently asked questions
How does the UJK Parf self-locking dog mechanism work?
A simple twist of the dog's top changes the tolerance from fine to zero and securely locks it into the 20 mm hole. A twist in the opposite direction releases it. No tools are needed, and there's no need to access the underside of the table.
The mechanism solves the typical problem of tall dogs without locking: even with tight tolerances, a 60 mm dog without a lock always has slight play, resulting in cutting inaccuracy. The UJK Parf self-locking dog eliminates this play by bringing the tolerance to zero once locked.
