FAQ / Frequently asked questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What systems is it compatible with?

For dust extraction systems with piping diameter corresponding to the product specifications.

Check connection diameters before purchase. Krollit provides standard accessories for the main diameters (Ø100, Ø120, Ø150).

Does it reduce pressure loss?

Yes, correctly sized fittings and bends reduce losses and improve efficiency.

90° bends cause greater losses than gentle curves or Y-branches. Prioritize direct paths.

What material is it?

Typically galvanized sheet metal or rigid plastic material for industrial use.

Galvanized sheet metal components are suitable for abrasive dust (hardwood), plastic ones for light dust and standard industrial environments.

Can it be connected to extractors of other brands?

Yes, if the connection diameter matches. Check compatibility in the technical data sheet.

Standard diameters are universal among European brands. For non-standard connections, dedicated adapters are needed.

What is needed for assembly?

Typically hose clamps and silicone or gaskets to ensure a seal.

For permanent metal systems, self-tapping screws and silicone sealant are used on the joints. For removable systems, use screw clamps.
