Description

IGM Silicone Glue Applicator Roller Kit – Ø 20 mm, 47 mm width, grooves for even distribution, with choice of Titebond glue

The IGM silicone glue applicator roller is an accessory for hobby-professional use, made up of a Ø 20 mm silicone roller, 47 mm wide, with angled grooves that hold the glue and ensure even distribution without excess, plus a silicone tray with front notches for collecting excess glue. The design with no protruding parts allows application right up to the edge of the workpiece without damaging the material. Available as a combo with a choice of Titebond glue: Original D2, II Premium D3 or III Ultimate D4. Distributed in Italy by Krollit, official IGM and Titebond distributor since 2007.

  • Roller diameter: Ø 20 mm
  • Roller width: 47 mm
  • Angled grooves: hold glue on the roller, reduce dripping
  • Edge application: design with no protruding parts
  • Silicone tray with front notches: collects excess glue and rests the roller
  • Roller and tray material: silicone
  • Cleaning: warm water or dry peeling
  • Glue included: choice of Titebond (selectable variant)

Which Titebond glue to choose for your use

The combo is available with three Titebond glue variants. The choice depends on the environment of use and the required level of water resistance.

Who this kit is for

ProfileFitReason
Woodworker gluing large surfaces (panels, side panels, worktops)SuitableThe 47 mm width and angled grooves spread glue in an even layer over flat surfaces in a single pass, cutting spreading time compared to a flat brush
Hobbyist doing veneering or panel assembly workSuitableThe design with no protruding parts allows application right up to the panel edge without leaving uncovered areas or damaging the material; the tray limits waste on small glue quantities
Application in holes, deep mortises or narrow groovesNot suitableThe Ø 20 mm diameter and 47 mm width make the roller suited to flat, wide surfaces; for cylindrical holes, mortises and narrow grooves, the IGM point applicator kit is the correct tool

Not suitable for: applying expanding polyurethane glues, two-component epoxy glues or solvent-based contact adhesives, for which cleaning the silicone roller with water is not practical.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between the IGM roller and the IGM brush kit for glue application?

The roller is designed for large, flat surfaces such as panels, side panels and worktops; the brushes in the IGM kit suit narrower surfaces, open mortises and dovetail joints where the roller can't reach.

For veneering or panel gluing in a single pass, the 47 mm roller is faster and spreads a more even layer than a brush. For mixed applications, those working on both large surfaces and profiled joints benefit from having both tools available.
