Description
Bernardo MSB 320 HG semi-automatic metal bandsaw
The Bernardo MSB 320 HG is a semi-automatic bandsaw designed for professional and heavy-duty work, suitable for cutting profiles, tubes, solid steel, and non-ferrous metals. Thanks to its robust, torsion-free frame and stable construction, it ensures smooth, vibration-free operation. It offers a wide range of angular cuts up to 60° and 30°, with automatic arm lifting adjustable in height to facilitate series production. The continuously variable cutting speed (20 – 100 m/min) allows optimal adaptation to the material, while safety features include automatic shutdown and blade breakage control. With a maximum cutting capacity of up to 350 x 320 mm at 90°, a 120 W coolant pump, and a quick-release vise, it represents a powerful and versatile machine, suitable for metalworking shops and workshops that demand reliability and productivity.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between an automatic (V) and semi-automatic (H) saw?
Automatic versions (MSB with V suffix) have fully motorized blade descent with programmable cutting speed and automatic return — the operator positions the workpiece, starts the cycle, and the machine cuts and rises without intervention. Semi-automatic versions (H) have motorized descent but require the operator to manually start each cycle. Both offer superior cutting quality compared to manual versions.
What cutting speed should I use for stainless steel?
For AISI 304 stainless steel, use the lowest available speed (20–30 m/min) with active coolant. Higher speeds cause blade overheating, sticking, and rapid wear. Also, reduce the blade unit's descent force compared to mild steel.
Are replacement blades available?
Yes. Bi-metal blades in different tooth configurations for all MSB versions are available with 3–5 business day shipping. Specify the model for the correct length.
Is coolant necessary for cutting mild steel?
For single cuts on mild steel (S235/S275) up to 100 mm, coolant is not essential. For series production or sections over 100 mm, coolant significantly increases blade life and cut quality. For stainless steel, coolant is always necessary.
Is assistance available?
