For AISI 304 stainless steel, the lowest available speed (20–30 m/min) is used with active coolant. Higher speeds cause overheating and rapid blade wear. For stainless steel over 80 mm, also reduce the lowering force of the blade unit.

Are replacement blades available?

Yes. Original Bernardo bi-metal replacement blades available with 3–5 business day shipping. Available in different tooth configurations for different materials (steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper).

What is the maximum cutting capacity at 45°?

The capacity at 45° is lower than the nominal capacity at 90°. For the HBS 210 V horizontal band saw with a max Ø of 210 mm at 90°, the capacity at 45° is typically 65–70% of the nominal value. Check the angled capacity table in the supplied manual.
