Description
Bernardo DC 160 – Compact Dust Collector 850 m³/h
The Bernardo DC 160 is a compact and practical dust collector, suitable for hobbyists and small woodworking workshops. With an air flow rate of 850 m³/h and a maximum vacuum pressure of 700 Pa, it guarantees effective dust extraction for smaller machines. Equipped with a 40-liter chip collection bag and a filter bag with a surface area of 0.8 m², it keeps the air clean and reduces the dispersion of fine dust. The 2.0-meter spiral suction hose and Ø 100 mm connection allow for quick and versatile hook-up. The 0.55 kW (0.75 HP) motor is powered by 230 V, operates quietly (80 dB), and is efficient. With a low weight (17 kg) and a transport device, the DC 160 is easy to move and is the right choice for those looking for a light, reliable, and affordable dust collector.

Frequently Asked Questions
The DC 160 series — what machines is it suitable for and how is it connected?
The DC 160 connects to circular saws, planers, thicknessers, sanders via a 100 or 150 mm hose (depending on the model). Sized for hobby workshops and small joinery shops — 1–2 machines connected. Connection requires a standard extraction outlet (Ø 100–150 mm) on the machine tool. For machines with a different diameter outlet, use reducing fittings.
The 40 L bag — how often should it be emptied?
The emptying frequency depends on the type of work and the wood. For circular saws (large chips): every 2–4 hours. For thicknessers and sanders (fine dust): every 4–8 hours. Empty when the bag is 70–80% full — beyond this level, the flow rate decreases, and fine dust begins to pass into the filter, reducing its useful life. A level indicator or differential manometer on the filter (where present) is the most reliable way to know when to empty.
