What is an HSS GT24 die holder and how is it used?
The die holder is the die stock that mounts on the Bernardo threading machine with a GT24 collet chuck. It accommodates the HSS die of corresponding diameter to the indicated sizes (M8) and keeps it centered and correctly oriented during tapping. The quick-change system allows the die to be replaced without tools between one size and another.
Is this holder compatible with my Bernardo threading machine?
The GT24 collet chuck is compatible with Bernardo TM series threading machines. Verify the type of collet chuck on your threading machine (GT12 → TM 12 threading machines, GT24 → TM 24 threading machines) before purchase. Not interchangeable between GT12 and GT24.
