Who are the [X] mm UJK low-profile clamping dogs for?
| Profile | Compatibility | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Woodworker sanding or planing on a multifunction table | Suitable | With only [X] mm of projection, the dogs do not interfere with the sander or planer during operation; they clamp the workpiece without obstructing its surface |
| Those working thin materials from [X] mm upwards on a grid table | Suitable | The [X] mm projection is sufficient as a side stop for any material of equal or greater thickness, while maintaining the lowest possible profile |
| Those requiring zero-tolerance clamping or an expansion mechanism | Not recommended | Low-profile dogs do not have a clamping mechanism; for applications requiring zero tolerance, the corresponding UJK expandable clamping dogs are recommended |
Not recommended for: use with guide rails and track saws, for which dogs with a minimum projection of 30–60 mm are required; and for operations requiring zero-tolerance clamping without play.
