Description
The TBM 430 - 16 bench drill is a machine powered at 230 V, with a drilling capacity of up to 20 mm, MT 2 Morse taper spindle mount and 16 speeds from 160 to 3,000 rpm. The 1.1 kW aluminium motor transmits power via a V-belt. The 355 × 355 mm table with T-slots tilts ±45°, the throat depth reaches 215 mm and the column has a diameter of 80 mm.

What applications is it suitable for?
The TBM 430 - 16 is suitable for workshops, maintenance departments, metal fabrication shops and laboratories that drill steel, aluminium, wood and plastics up to 20 mm, on workpieces within a throat depth of 215 mm. The minimum speed of 160 rpm is useful for larger diameters in steel, the maximum of 3,000 rpm for small drill bits and soft materials. The 230 V single-phase power supply allows connection to a standard socket.
It is not suitable for workpieces that require the drilling point to be moved beyond the 215 mm throat depth: in these cases a radial drill is required.
