Lifting table Lifting table: permitted for people?
Bernardo FSHT, SSHT, and TG series lifting tables are designed exclusively for lifting loads — NOT for transporting or lifting people. Use with people is prohibited by Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and dangerous. For work platforms at height, use only equipment certified for personal use (ladders, scaffolding, aerial platforms).
How does the foot pedal control work?
The lifting table has electro-hydraulic actuation: the 0.75 kW motor pumps fluid into the hydraulic cylinder. Lifting occurs by pressing the foot control pedal (or the button on the panel). Lowering is controlled via a manual valve with variable flow — the descent speed is adjusted by turning the valve. In case of power failure, the platform remains in the reached position.
Does the 1000 kg capacity refer to the centered load?
Yes — the nominal capacity is valid for a load uniformly distributed on the platform with the center of gravity at the center. For off-center loads (pieces resting on one side), the actual capacity is significantly reduced. General rule: do not exceed 70% of the nominal capacity with off-center loads. Always check stability before lifting.
