The saw unit is guided and suspended on both sides to ensure stability during operation, while feed and height adjustment are manual for direct and reliable control. Complete with a coolant tank with a dosing tap, it ensures proper lubrication and cooling of the blade. The possibility of extending the bed makes the BBS 650 B a versatile solution for virtually unlimited cutting lengths.

What distinguishes a petrol band saw from an electric one?

Bloch BBS petrol saws are completely self-contained — they work on construction sites, in open fields, and anywhere there is no electricity. Suitable for demolitions, road construction sites, pipe and metal structure installations where there is no electrical connection. Electric BBS E versions are quieter, emission-free, and suitable for indoor use.

What fuel does the BBS 650 B / BBS 780 B engine use?

The engines of Bloch BBS petrol saws use standard unleaded petrol (95 octane) with 2-stroke engine oil mixed according to the engine manufacturer's instructions — typically 1:50 (20 ml oil per liter of petrol). Do not use petrol without oil: the 2-stroke engine will be irreversibly damaged without lubrication.

What maintenance does the petrol engine require?

Clean the air filter every 25 hours, replace the spark plug every 50 hours, check and clean the carburetor every 100 hours. Before long periods of disuse, empty the fuel tank and run the engine until the fuel in the carburetor is exhausted to prevent petrol deposits. Follow the instructions in the included Italian manual.
