Guede GRP 80E Vibratory Plate
The Guede GRP 80E vibratory plate is a professional vibratory compactor for medium-duty tasks on asphalt, stabilized ground, sand, and gravel. Featuring superior compaction pressure (14 kN vs. 12 kN for the GRP 60E model), the GRP 80E handles sub-bases up to 20 cm deep with consistent results. Perfect for professional tile layers, construction companies, road maintenance crews, and restoration sites, it combines maneuverability (70 kg) with constant compaction power (5,000 vibrations/min). The automatic feed eliminates operator fatigue, while the steel frame protects components during frequent transport.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
Does the GRP 80E vibratory plate achieve compaction depths greater than 20 cm?
No. The guaranteed depth is 20 cm on granular sand/gravel. For greater depths (30+ cm), we recommend high-power industrial Guede systems. The GRP 80E is sized for curbs, pavement sub-bases, and medium construction sites.
Can I use the GRP 80E on wet asphalt or after rain?
Not recommended. Water hinders vibration transmission and reduces plate adhesion. Wait 24–48 hours after rain, or cover the area with a tarp. Engine: do not pour water into the tank or air intakes.
Does "automatic feed" mean I advance without touching it?
Yes, but with control. When you start and accelerate, the plate moves autonomously (20 m/min). You can slow down/stop via the accelerator lever or by lifting the handle. Ideal on flat surfaces; on slopes > 5°, support manually (not recommended).
How much maintenance is needed between jobs?
Every 25 working hours: drain engine oil, check air filter, lubricate vibrator bearings (details in manual). Every 100 hours: replace spark plug, clean fuel tank. Use fresh fuel (not stored for > 3 months without stabilizer).
Does the polyurethane mat wear out? How long does it last?
A: Yes, it wears out. Typical durability: 200–300 hours of continuous work (depends on grain size and moisture). Replacement: part 55578-01063. Disassembly/assembly: < 2 min thanks to quick brackets 55578-01062.
Is the GRP 80E noisy? Can I work near houses?
Yes, it's noisy (108 dB(A), equivalent to a circular saw). In residential areas, limit use to 08:00–17:00 Mon–Fri (check local regulations). Provide PPE (95 dB SNR earmuffs) to operators.
Can I transport it in a normal car? What are the packaging dimensions?
Yes. Packaging: 820 × 460 × 610 mm, gross weight 74 kg (SUV capable, trunk area). No trailer required for single job sites.
Does the warranty cover damage from improper use (e.g., hot asphalt, rain)?
Standard Güde warranty: 24 months from purchase date (manufacturing defects). Exclusions: use on asphalt still hot (> 50°C), immersion in water, fuel stored > 6 months, lack of maintenance. Contact Krollit for claims within 30 days of purchase.
What is the rebound/bounce of the plate during operation?
Thanks to balanced eccentrics, the plate does not bounce. It moves smoothly at 5,000 vibrations/min. On uneven surfaces, the operator feels "tactile feedback" (vibration in the hands dampened by the handle). Guede design: stabilization patent.
Do I need to register the machine somewhere?
No. Unregistered construction machine (no license plate). Documentation: manual + CE declaration (provided). For public construction sites, request DURC + CCIAA registration (concerns the company, not the machine). Keep Krollit invoice for warranty.
