The KSU 740 universal base – with which machines is it compatible?
The KSU is designed to support miter saws, saws, bench angle grinders, and other light tools up to the maximum indicated weight. The adjustable working length of 420–800 mm allows the base to be adapted to the machine and to the ergonomic working height for the operator. It is not a specific base for heavy machines – for lathes and milling machines, use the dedicated bases from the D and Deluxe series.
How is the height of the work surface adjusted?
Height adjustment is done via telescopic legs or side adjustment screws (depending on the model). Adjust all 4 legs to the same height and check the flatness of the surface with a spirit level before fixing the machine. An unleveled surface causes cuts with unwanted angles on saws and miter saws.
Does the base include the stop fence?
