Description
The TBM 380 - 16 RL bench drill is a machine powered at 400 V, with a drilling capacity of up to 20 mm, MT 2 Morse taper spindle mount and 12 speeds from 180 to 2,740 rpm. The 0.60 kW motor features rotation reversal as standard, useful for extracting tools and for operations requiring anticlockwise rotation. The 290 × 290 mm table with T-slots tilts ±45° and the base with T-slots also allows tall workpieces to be clamped.

What applications is it suitable for?
The TBM 380 - 16 RL is suitable for workshops, maintenance departments and laboratories that drill steel, aluminium, wood and plastics up to 20 mm, on workpieces within a throat depth of 195 mm. The speed range starts at 180 rpm, a useful speed for larger diameters in steel. The bench format requires a stable support surface and connection to a 400 V three-phase supply.
It is not suitable for users with only a 230 V single-phase socket, nor for workpieces that require the drilling point to be moved beyond the 195 mm throat depth: in these cases a 230 V model or a radial drill is required.
