Bernardo manual tube bender MR 250 F – bending up to 180°
The Bernardo manual tube bender MR 250 F is suitable for manual bending of metal tubes with a larger diameter, ideal for craftsmen, workshops and installers. Thanks to its robust construction and lever system, it allows the bending of thin steel, copper and aluminum tubes up to 1.5 mm thick with a maximum angle of 180°. It comes with a complete set of interchangeable segments to cover different diameters and bending radii, ensuring versatility and precision in every process. Its compact size and light weight allow for easy placement on a workbench or construction site. Robust, reliable, and easy to use, it represents the natural evolution of the MR 200 F model, offering superior capabilities for more demanding needs.

Frequently asked questions
The MR 250 F — what materials does it work on and what is the thickness limit?
The MR 250 F bends mild steel, copper, aluminum and brass tubes. The thickness limit depends on the diameter: small diameter tubes with thick walls are harder to bend than thin-walled tubes of the same outer diameter. For S235 structural steel tubes, check the capacity table in the manual. For stainless steel, the MR 250 F manual is not suitable — request the HRB hydraulic version.
How can I avoid ovalization and creases during bending?
Ovalization is reduced by using the correct diameter die that supports the tube externally, and by inserting an internal mandrel for thin-walled tubes (under 1.5 mm). A constant bending speed reduces irregularities compared to jerky movements. For tight radii (less than 1.5 × the tube diameter) ovalization is physiological — reducing it requires a specific internal mandrel.
Up to what angle can it bend?
The MR 250 F bends up to 180° in a single pass. For angles greater than 180° (spiral), it is necessary to flip the tube and continue bending with two passes. The integrated goniometric scale allows setting the exact angle, taking into account the material's typical springback.
