The STF 16 N 16000 kg trolley — how does it work for moving very heavy machinery?
The STF trolley is a roller trolley for exceptional loads: it is inserted under the machine with levers and lifting bars, and the load slides on the rollers with reduced friction. The 16000 kg capacity is per single trolley — for very heavy machines, use 4 STF trolleys (one for each corner) to distribute the weight. The turntable allows changing direction of travel without lifting the load.
What is the difference between STF 4 N, STF 8 N, STF 12 N and STF 16 N?
The designation indicates the capacity in tons: STF 4 N = 4,000 kg, STF 8 N = 8,000 kg, STF 12 N = 12,000 kg, STF 16 N = 16,000 kg per single trolley. The number of rollers and the size of the plate increase with capacity. For a 10-ton machine, use 4 STF 4 N (total capacity 16 t with safety margin).
